Intergenerational Health & Wellness Hub

A physical and virtual hub where seniors and youth access integrated care, mental health support, and social connection.

What We Offer

  • Primary care navigation and health system wayfinding
  • Mental health counselling and peer support groups
  • Workshops on chronic disease management and nutrition
  • Digital literacy classes led by youth for seniors
  • Cooking, art, and music sessions with cross-generational mentoring
  • Coordination with local health authorities for doctor and nurse practitioner referrals

Supported Independent Living & Housing Navigation

Comprehensive housing support to help individuals find stability, dignity, and a place to call home.

What We Offer

  • Assistance applying for BC Housing supportive and community housing programs
  • Tenancy skills workshops: budgeting, maintenance, tenant rights
  • Help securing rent supplements and liaising with landlords
  • Transitional housing supports via Reaching Home (federal homelessness strategy)
  • Partnership with Lu'uma Native Housing Society for culturally safe housing

Trauma-Informed Substance-Use Support

Harm reduction and recovery-oriented services that honour lived experience and build pathways to wellness.

What We Offer

  • Harm-reduction education and naloxone training
  • Peer-led support groups facilitated by people with lived experience
  • Culturally safe counselling aligned with Health Canada SUAP priorities
  • Aftercare services and relapse prevention planning
  • Collaboration with Community Action Initiative peer networks

Family & Caregiver Support

Resources and respite for caregivers so they can sustain the vital work of caring for loved ones.

What We Offer

  • Respite care options to give caregivers necessary rest
  • Caregiver training on dementia care, mobility assistance, and self-care
  • Support groups to reduce isolation and burnout
  • Referrals to meal programs, home support, and legal aid
  • Financial counselling and access to benefits navigation

Community Engagement & Education

Events and campaigns that bring generations together and shift public understanding of mental health and trauma.

Skills & Learning Workshops
